Day Camp at YMCA of the Rockies is quickly approaching! Summer Day Camp provides kids ages 3-17 with the opportunity to develop a greater appreciation for things that they already enjoy, or to try something new through a day or week-long experience.
Parents and their children are welcome to come to the Legett Youth Building on Saturday, June 1st from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for the Day Camp open house. Here, parents will have the opportunity to meet staff, ask questions, fill out paperwork, and/or complete registration. Camp counselors will be available to answer questions and will also be holding camp activities for children and their families to participate in.
Throughout the summer, children can make friends and memories through the activities offered in our four different programs: Bennett Beavers – for 3 & 4 year-olds, Traditional Day Camp – for 5 year-olds through 8th graders, Mountaineers and Adventurers – for 7th through 12th graders, and Specialty Activity Camps. Through these programs, kids will get to take part in activities such as horseback riding, hiking, archery, swimming, rock climbing, arts and crafts, and more.
The YMCA of the Rockies’ American Camp Association accredited Day Camp begins June 3rd and goes Monday through Friday until August 16th 2019 at the Estes Park Center. Questions? Visit online at ymcarockies.org/summer-day-camp or contact our Day Camp office at 970-586-3341 ext. 1280.
