Family Yoga Weekend kick off this season of fun fall events on the weekend of Friday, Sept. 14 and run through Sunday, Sept. 16. Family Yoga Weekend will consist of much more than just child’s pose and downward dog— while classes will be offered for different skill levels and focuses, there will also be sessions regarding nutrition and mental and emotional practices to assure a healthy mind, body and spirit for yourself, your family and those around you.
Fall Fest is another great activity offered at the YMCA and runs every weekend from Sept. 29 through Oct. 13. Fall Fest is a great time for families to come out and enjoy everything the season has to offer. From pumpkin paintings to making gooey s’mores and more, Fall Fest is sure to warm families’ hearts during this chilly time of year. Check our website in August for more details.
Fall certainly is a “boo-tiful” time of year, and there’s no better way to spend it than at YMCA of the Rockies. On Saturday, Oct. 28, the YMCA will be hosting its Halloween Spooktacular featuring everything from a costume party to trick-or-treating around the YMCA property, making sure families won’t be scared when looking for fun activities to participate in.
Need to burn off all that Halloween candy? You’re in luck! The 10th annual Turley Trot 5k and Fun Run/Walk will kick off on Thanksgiving morning at 8 a.m. Dogs are welcome, and donations will be accepted to help support our summer day camp scholarship. Stay withus for the weekend and enjoy the Thanksgiving activities running from Nov. 21-23 including s’mores making over a campfire and much more!
