Join the fun and enthusiastic YMCA of the Rockies day camp staff for a free hot dog cookout at 5pm on Friday, June 2 at the Leggett Youth Program Building at the YMCA. Whether your child is already registered for summer day camp or you are interested in learning more about the program, this informative and playful evening is open to all. Parents and children will have the opportunity to meet the day camp director and counselors, ask questions and visit the day camp program building.
Day camp director, Spencer Pedigo is looking forward to welcoming community parents and their kids to the upcoming open house saying, “parents will find that this a great opportunity to meet all the great staff that will be taking care of their kids this summer. After spending only a few minutes talking with me and our amazing team, parents will know that their kids will have an unforgettable summer with counselors that will care for their kids as much as they do.”
Day camp provides enriching experiences for every child, from horseback riding, hiking and exploring trails, developing archery skills, splashing and playing in the pool to singing to their hearts content, creating crafts and more! All under the care of specially trained staff who bring attention to the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and faith.
The YMCA of the Rockies day camp serves children from the ages of three to seventeen and is accredited by the American Camp Association which is earned by meeting or exceeding current camp industry standards.
