We ask a lot of our bodies… Walk, hike, ski, drive, work, repeat. When was the last time you took time to give back to your body that supports and gives you life everyday? Luckily, at Snow Mountain Ranch our experienced Homegrown Massage therapist, Laura Collins, makes it easy to rejuvenate and relax your hard working body.
Not only does massage soothe sore muscles, it unwinds the mind, sparking many other health benefits. Massage can aid in recovery of sports injuries, relieve anxiety, and even ease joint pain.
As a ski and exercise fiend, my muscles are chronically sore. Like many fellow outdoor lovers, I often opt to get a good hard workout rather than getting much needed rest. However, I uncharacteristically scheduled myself a massage after a long day of Tele Skiing. My body had never been more thankful. After an hour Swedish Massage, the deep tension in my mougul-loving legs and stiff shoulders melted away. Laura personalized the massage to benefit my specific needs, paying close attention to previous injuries and my pressure preferences. For an hour, my mind to drifted off as the smell of lavender calmed my mind a muscles. The soft howl of mountain winds outside made me feel even cozier as Laura finished my massage with a warm towel on my back and feet.
If you or someone you know will be staying at Snow Mountain Ranch from now until April 1st, you must try a Homegrown Massage with Laura. For all your body does for you, it’s always good to give back every now and again. Remember, a massage is a perfect gift for someone you love!
