Our partner, Project Sanctuary, has been named a finalist in the Joining Forces Community Challenge. The Joining Forces Community Challenge is a White House initiative started by First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden with the purpose of recognizing organizations that are of service to military families. Project Sanctuary is competing with 19 other organizations for the honor of being profiled on the website Champions of Change and recognized by the First Lady and Dr. Biden at an event in Washington, D.C. in early 2012.

The National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) is one of the largest outdoor therapeutic recreation agencies of its kind in the world. For 42 years, children and adults with disabilities have looked to the organization for hope and encouragement. Each year, they take to the ski slopes, rivers, mountain trails and athletic fields to learn more about sports and themselves.

Don’t leave Fido at home! Our cabins at Estes Park Center and our cabins, campgrounds and yurts at Snow Mountain Ranch are dog-friendly. There is a two pet maximum per lodging unit with a $10 pet fee per night of your stay. To protect our wildlife and other guests, dogs must be on leashes at all times when outside of the lodging unit.
