Have you been on the waterfall trail on the Snow Mountain Ranch grounds? Dave and I took a walk along that trail and were amazed to see how active the beaver have been. It looks like there is a lot of new activity too as many trees have just been freshly felled. There are many small dams, but the largest one looks like it had a master architect build it.
Another interesting feature are the slides going into the water. If we were in Florida, we would know that those are alligator slides and we would beware. These slides looked the same and there was evidence that the beaver had been using the...

The afternoon turned chilly at Snow Mountain Ranch, so we started a fire, made a pot of coffee and put up our “Library is Open” welcome sign. Soon after, a family walked in and each of them was able to enjoy their own activity in the library. Mom, Joyce Weti, was able to get on the free computers and catch up with her friends on Facebook. Katrina, who is a very gifted young lady of 12 years, had math homework to do, but settled in first with some fun activity books and then the computer. Patricia is 9 years old and will be attending the National Young Scholars Program at Colorado University...

Have you been to the Snow Mountain Ranch Family Library? We’ve recently remodeled the library to have wide open spaces, free wi-fi, a working fireplace and books for adults and children in a comfortable coffee house atmosphere.
