Remember, we have Dog-Friendly Lodging Available!

Remember, we have Dog-Friendly Lodging Available!
Don’t leave Fido at home!  Our cabins at Estes Park Center and our cabins, campgrounds and yurts at Snow Mountain Ranch are dog-friendly.  There is a two pet maximum per lodging unit with a $10 pet fee per night of your stay.  To protect our wildlife and other guests, dogs must be on leashes at all times when outside of the lodging unit. Not only can Fido stay with you, he can join in the fun!  We have dog-friendly trails at the Snow Mountain Ranch Nordic Center during the winter months.  During the summer months, our program staff is happy to recommend dog-friendly hiking trails near both...

Falling for the Mountains

Falling for the Mountains
The Rocky Mountains offer splendid views year round, but in the fall they are enchanting. Golden aspens line the mountain trails and rustle in the wind. The YMCA of the Rockies is a great place to view the Rocky Mountains as they transform before the long winter. This year we are offering great lodging specials so you have time to experience it all. Snow Mountain Ranch Autumn Special Stay in a cabin, lodge room, or yurt at Snow Mountain Ranch for 2 nights and you’ll get a 3rd night FREE! Valid...

YMCA of the Rockies Lifeguards Give Back

YMCA of the Rockies Lifeguards Give Back

The lifeguards gathered loads of stuffing, yams, gravy, canned vegetables, cranberry sauce, frozen meats, pies, bread, rolls and mashed potato mixes! The food was delivered to Crossroads Ministries yesterday for distribution. Our lifeguards are amazing people who not only keep us safe at the pool, but go above and beyond to help our community and support the Mission of the YMCA of the Rockies. Happy Thanksgiving,...

Meet Tom, our new Nordic Center Director!

Meet Tom, our new Nordic Center Director!
Tom moved across the country two months ago to take the reins as the Nordic Center Director at Snow Mountain Ranch. Hailing from upstate New York, Tom enjoys skiing (which is good, because it’s a job requirement) and rock climbing. Naturally, the thing he enjoys most about living in Colorado is the abundance of snow and mountains. Although he loves climbing and scaled the Tetons a few years ago, Tom is not comfortable with heights. And although he was on the swim team and sails his sailboat on Grand Lake, Tom has a phobia of water. He’s no couch potato, but when he does take a breather,...

Our Family Fun Weekends are designed to be affordable getaways for families of all sizes and ages; we have a lot of families who regularly attend several weekends each year! Click here to learn more about our upcoming Family Fun Weekends at both Estes Park Center and Snow Mountain Ranch. -Martha,...
