What’s your camp wish? Ours is to scholarship 80 kids for camp this summer.
Experiences at camp last a lifetime. With the launch of Camp Chief Ouray’s “Wish 4 camp” campaign, Camp Chief Ouray allows Twitter users to activate a $5 donation on behalf of YMCA of the Rockies just by sending a single Tweet. Through this unique interactive campaign, YMCA of the Rockies hopes to provide 80 camp scholarships this summer to kids who would otherwise be unable to attend camp. The Sherpa trips at Camp Chief Ouray give teens ages 13-16 the opportunity to learn leadership skills and build new friendships through backpacking, rafting, or horseback riding.
Our backpacking trips give teens the chance to learn backcountry living skills in Rocky Mountain National Park (June 10-15 and June 17-22; $530).
The rafting trip teaches teens how to navigate the waters of the Colorado River (June 24-29, July 1-6, July 15-20, July 22-27; $640).
Teens on the horse pack trips spend their days riding and exploring the Rockies on horseback (July 15-20; $735)

Fab Over Fifty wants you to experience Women’s Fitness Camp at Camp Chief Ouray this coming August. To enter, click here and answer the question, “Did you go to summer camp?”
Women’s Fitness Camp takes place from August 17th-22nd and costs $410 for YMCA members and $430 for non-YMCA members (seniors 65 and older: $385). The fee includes all meals, snacks, a camp t-shirt, lodging and all camp activities. Horseback riding, rafting and the ropes course is available for an additional cost.
